The climax of Aadhavan was shot in South Africa, Suriya who was there even during his b'day, celebrated it grandly with the film's crew members at 10pm after the day's shoot ended.
The Climax of the film alone cost 2cr.As per the story, a helicopter needed to be burnt - a dummy model of the same, worth 8 lakhs was utilized to perform this act.
