Who or What is behind the success of Suriya today ?
The directors - they've made their thoughts come on screen rather than treating cinema as a plastic to be moulded. I am lucky. I had the opportunity to work with Bala , K.V.Anand , A.R.Murgadoss , Gautam , Hari . I was offered equal screen space to Vijay right in my first film ,thanks to Vasanth sir. After that, I did not get directors who could give me the confidence like Vasanth sir. I felt like I was doing films just for the sake of it. Only after working with Bala sir , I got the recognition. I was scared that I would vanish , I had the fear in me. That is why , I am trying to learn something film after film.

What are the plans for the year ?
I must take Agaram to the next level. If am able to educate 150 students now , I must take it to 300 next year. It must double. I've said that this Agaram is not my'n , I can't do it all alone. There are 250 people involved in this. Only because of these people , Agaram is still in existance.
Trees are important to us, I've now planned to do as much as possible for the growth of trees in our state.
